Meet the President
Matt Cross
Hello Historic Ingleside Neighbors,
I would like to introduce myself as the recently elected President of the Board of Historic Ingleside Neighborhood Association (HINA). To begin, I would like to thank past president, Taylor McNeill, and the previous members of the board and committees. Everyone has done a fantastic job getting HINA to where it is today. The organization is still relatively new and has come a long way in the past few years. Also, we have several new members of the board and committees that I know will do a fantastic job during their term.
As in previous years, the main goals of the neighborhood association remain the same. To promote a sense of community within Ingleside, maintain safety, and promote the charm of the neighborhood. In the past two years, we have done this by implementing the camera system, planning neighborhood social events, and promoting the positives of the neighborhood. We are looking forward to continuing the great work that has been done. Keep a lookout on social media and the newsletters for updates and approaching events.
As for me, I have lived in the Ingleside neighborhood on Albemarle Place since 2015. I attended The University of Georgia and now work with Renasant Bank as a Commercial Banker. My favorite hobbies are fly fishing and quail hunting. Growing up in Macon, I have always loved the Ingleside neighborhood and enjoy living here. It has a historic character and appeal like nowhere else in Macon.
Sincerely,
Matt Cross
